No secret that the king of cool Steve McQueen had a major man crush for John Wayne. Steve idolized the Duke. Here are a few rare photos of these two icons. Maybe in the early 70’s they should have made a film together.
Sadly these to actors died with in a year of each other June of 1979 we lost John Wayne, and Steve McQueen November of 1980; and to both succumbed to cancer.
